Naomi Edobor is a London-based curator, researcher, and consultant specialising in contemporary African art, institutional development, and cultural preservation. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History and Museum Curating from the University of Sussex.

As co-founder of DICA Arts, she develops strategic partnerships between institutions, galleries, and artists of African descent, focusing on collection building and market development across the contemporary African art landscape. She is also the founder of OWA, an archival platform dedicated to documenting and preserving the aesthetics and cultural affairs of the Benin-Edo people, working to decolonize and disseminate indigenous narratives.

A 2020 MACAAL Bootcamp Fellow and recipient of the Communicating the Arts 30 Under 30 collective recognition, Naomi’s curatorial practice bridges traditional and contemporary African art discourses. Her work spans institutional development, collection consulting, and research on African social, political, and cultural theories expressed through visual arts and material culture.
Her professional collaborations include curatorial and research projects with The Ford Foundation, renowned artists Victor Ehikhamenor and Wana Udobang, and leading galleries and cultural institutions. Her work has been featured in Contemporary& and other notable publications, establishing her as an emerging voice in contemporary African art discourse.
